Datum International has signed a contract to become the world-wide authorised distributor for the Openshare CMS Web Content Management (WCM) software owned by Openshare Content Management Limited (OCM).

As part of the agreement, Datum International will acquire 286 customers  and 4 reseller partners who are mainly situated in the UK, Italy, USA and the Far East. Datum will also take on the responsibility for providing technical and development support to the existing and all future Openshare customers.  

Web Content Management (WCM) has been the one missing module from the KnowledgeWorker ECM suite to provide the “complete” end to end Content Management and deployment solution.  WCM is used to build web sites, intranets and extranets, providing users with the ability to create easily maintainable web sites using sophisticated templates and style sheets to control the look & feel and site navigation. In addition, the ability to render content dynamically as HTML allows documents to be published as web pages in seconds.
